Umbro are doing a grand job

Okay, the remnants of the 2009/10 season is finally seeping away…onto the World Cup! We’re still three weeks away, the final squads have yet to be whittled down and we won’t lie, we’re not in full World Cup mode yet.

There is the small matter of the WeKnowFA end of season break to come before the World Cup begins but we need to start turning our mind to matters in South Africa.

What better way to do this than by considering some football kits and threads.

Whether it is for holiday clothes or for backing your boys, there are some great kits available for the World Cup, most of which have been kicking around for a while.

So…we’re going to be taking a close look at the Umbro World Champions Collection range, which the company have launched with a mighty large fanfare. We all know Umbro are the company behind the current England kit and it’s tailored look is adding a touch of class to proceedings.

It won’t surprise you to learn they have retained this stylish look in the Umbro World Champions Collection range but they have also managed to mix football up with two of our other passions, art and football!

First up, as you would expect, is the England top with WeKnowFA favourite, Abbey Clancy!

Good old Peter Crouch…Crouchy is the robot, Crouchy is the robot nananana! Haha, if Crouchy nets at the World Cup, you know how you’ll be celebrating!

There’s also a good chance the cameras will be panning to his glamorous girlfriend so a Crouchy strike is win:win.

That aside, the top looks good – something a bit different you can wear to show you are backing the boys without being as in your face as a standard football top. We’re not saying you should wear it anywhere smart or formal but it does take football clothing up a notch!
