Pot calling kettle black is a great statement

It can be good to see when team-mates rally around each other. It indicates a sense of unity in the dressing room and that the players are fighting in the same direction. Managers will definitely be happy to see team-mates stick together, especially when their opponents are wanting to get at them.
There were plenty of incidents arising from the Rangers v Hibs game on Sunday with both teams having cause to grumble but Zemmama of Hibs didn’t hold back in his opinions.
Given that he was caught with an elbow by Kris Boyd he was involved in one of the flashpoints but the Moroccan international also gave the media his thoughts on the penalty Rangers were awarded.
Unsurprisingly, the Rangers contingent felt differently and goal grabber Kris Boyd had this to say.
“I actually find it astonishing that somebody like Zemmama, who nine times out of ten goes down when he’s hardly been touched, can point the finger at Kenny.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I did catch Zemmama and there is no denying that, even if it was accidental. “
“But when you look at other challenges on him on Sunday, he fell about like he’d been shot. I think for him to have a go at Kenny is like the pot calling the kettle black”
This is Kris Boyd who has been booked at least twice for diving this season and gave the world one of the worst dives ever a few seasons back at Tannadice against Dundee United?
We’d post a video clip of it here but the only one we can find has some commentating that we don’t anywhere near the site so if you are desperate to see it, Youtube is your friend.
Of course, this is where we get Rangers fans up in arms and shouting what about “McGeady, Maloney, Petrov or Larsson – they dived all the time!”
Quite.
The issue is not diving because we think if you look hard enough, you can find times when someone from every SPL team has dived so there really isn’t any moral high ground to be taken here.
Nade of Hearts has been booked this season for diving and a different ref would likely have penalised Steven MacLean of Aberdeen for two dives at the weekend.
The point here is, if you are a diver, should you be having a pop at someone else?
Kris Boyd should stick to putting the ball in the back of the net, which is what he has a talent for – he certainly isn’t a Henry Kissinger!
