Homecoming Scotland is almost over but could it be a new start for Willie McStay?

Hugh Dallas has one less person to battle with now that the prickly Jim Gannon has been shown the door at Motherwell. Having a fall out with the club captain after one game maybe should have set some alarm bells ringing but the constant fights with officialdom and rumours of players unrest has left John Boyle no option to sack Gannon and he will once gain have to look for a new coach and maybe one who won’t pick fights with all and sundry.
Could Willie McStay currently head coach at Ujpest FC in Hungary be willing to come home to Scotland and his family and finally take charge of a top flight team after years of successfully guiding the Celtic reserves to 8 league titles in a row. His short tenure in Hungary has seen him take Ujpest to the semi-finals of the Cup and to second in the league just three points behind leaders Videoton.
After living in the shadow of his brother Paul as a player Willie has built a solid reputation as a coach and has been successful in all of his posts so far. Before his time with the Celtic Reserves Willie led Sligo Rovers to a historic treble, when they won the 1993-94 First Division, First Division Shield and the FAI Cup.
With both Motherwell and Dundee United looking for new coaches will we see some new faces in the SPL or will it be more of the same and another round of managerial musical chairs.
Motherwell fans who would you like to see in the hot seat after Jim Gannon?

I would like to see either Arsene Wegner, Jose Mourihno, Guus Hiddink, or Martin O Neill in the Motherwell hotseat. Tam Cowan is a fat bastard and i relish the days when i can spend 10minutes with Chick Young in a room, and i armed with a baseball bat and a nail gun.
Good luck with all your wishes James.
How does Craig Brown sound?
” and finally take charge of a top flight team” Murderwell?
Ha Ha Ha!
Thanks Tony,
they are a top flight club…if not, a top club in the division.
It would be a good move for McStay if he got the opportunity.
Think he better off where he is probably better paid as well.
