Celtic gift Caley an anniversary present
Nerves and desperation showing too strongly for hoops

Congratulations to Terry Butcher and the Inverness Caledonian Thistle side that completed a full year of away league fixtures without suffering defeat. That is a tremendous achievement for any team and is especially eye-catching for a side that has gained promotion to the top flight.
In saying that, they were given a helping hand by their opponents.
After going two-nil up, a team like Celtic should be able to close a game out but there is a lot of nerves in this team at the moment. When Majstorovic and Rogne dozed allowing Richie Foran to nip in and then draw Forster to give Caley a foothold, you knew then they would get a draw.
Such is the predictability about the Celtic backline these days.
To be fair to Neil Lennon, he changed things pre-match by going with a 3-5-2 formation but it never really got going. Losing Shaun Maloney, the pivotal point behind the two forwards early on was a blow but the first half was a turgid affair.
The brief moment of light came when Paddy McCourt fed Ki Sung Yueng and the South Korean finished excellently from distance.
The second half saw the visitors in control but a switch by Lennon to go 4-4-2 put Celtic in control. The home side started swarming forward and opened up a two goal lead after some wizardry from Paddy McCourt.
The Irishman is always going to have critics but it is his skill that football is all about and the Caley backline had no answer as he glided around them before delicately finishing.
However, as already stated, a desire to shoot themselves in the foot arose again for Celtic and there was no surprise when Caley equalised, although the goal was rather special. Grant Munro gave the visiting fans extra reason to cheer when his overhead kick from a corner kept the unbeaten away day run alive.
A lot to think about for both teams but there is certainly a lot of work for Neil Lennon to do with regards his team. It is clear the mentality at Celtic is not what it should be and if Rangers open up a 5 point gap at Tannadice today, it will only heap more pressure on Celtic.

Same old same old.
That defence has cost us 2 league titles and the old signs are there again. If we don’t sort it and sort it quick it will be 3.
Thats 10 points dropped since October, 7 of them at home!
Whats the deal with Maloney, is he made of glass?
Re Quagmire- Naw mate he’s mate of smelly brown stuff, unfortunately Wee Lenny canny see that
I fail to understand why Majestorovic is still with us.I have never
liked this guy since day one. He caused both goals. His pass to
Rogne was asking him to clear the danger because he didn’t
know what to do. The second Thistle goal came from his
balloon kick off the park causing an unnecessary corner.
Two points down the toilet because of this twat!
