Celtic see light at end of the injury tunnel
Neil Lennon could have more of a squad to select from

The international break sees fans who support a team but not necessarily a country worrying about any injuries their players may pick up. Getting injured in training or playing for your club side is unfortunate but is part and parcel of football. Many fans will feel a lot more aggrieved at losing the services of a key player when not with them.
However, the break from the club games may allow some players to gain fitness and get back into contention for the first team.
Celtic have released a statement about the fitness of Biram Kayal. The talk of the past few days is that the Israeli international was set to miss out for 3 months but the club says they have yet to find out the full extent of the injury.
The news on some of the other injured Celtic players seems a bit brighter.
Niall McGinn is back in first team training and could find himself back in contention after the international break. The Northern Irish international will be a good addition to the first team squad but there is another Northern Irish player the Celtic fans will be keen to see back in action.
Can Paddy McCourt stay fit this time?
Paddy McCourt will unfortunately miss the opportunity to waltz through the Italian defence for Nothern Ireland in the international break but he is expected back in training after the weekend.
McCourt is likely to be joined back in training by Thomas Rogne. The young defender has not had the best of luck with injuries since signing for Celtic so there will be hopes that he can get a run of fitness this time around.
With Jamie Forrest and Charlie Mulgrew also said to be nearing a return to training, both expected within the next week or so, the only other player close to returning to training will Honduran defender Emilio Izaguirre.
This will leave long-term injury victim Andreas Hinkel as the only player not in training, which will certainly be music to Neil Lennon’s ears. With 7 league wins out of 7, Celtic have been doing something right but with some big games looming, the more choice the better for the Celtic boss.
Who do Celtic need back most?

I think you mentioned it in an earlier article but I think Celtic need Izaguirre or Mulgrew back so the Ledley can slot back into the midfield.
The midfield has not been the same since he’s had to slot in a left back.
