Who did Celtic and Rangers get in League Cup quarter final?

Are you happy with the draw?

Celtic and Rangers went goal crazy, Aberdeen slayed a past demon and ex Hearts man Steven Pressley led his Falkirk side to a thrilling win over the Jambos.

Dundee United required extra time to get past their May cup final opponent, St Johnstone cruised past the Queens, Motherwell found a trip to Brechin less arduous than recent European trips and Kilmarnock found their goal-scoring touch and a bit of resolve to come from behind.

They were the headlines from the last 16 of the Scottish League Cup, with 8 teams booking their place in the quarter-final draw.

The draw is as follows:

Aberdeen v Falkirk
Motherwell v Dundee United
Kilmarnock v Rangers
St Johnstone v Celtic

The ties are scheduled to be played on: October 26th and 27th.

Edinburgh has no representative in the tournament but with Glasgow’s big two still involved, is the winner destined to come from a local team at the Hampden final or can there be a big upset this season?
