How will injury ins and outs affect Celtic?
Tough trip to Tannadice for Lennon’s men

21 points from 7 games this season and yet, Celtic find themselves second in the SPL. That’s pretty tough but Celtic could make it 8 wins in a row in the league this season and still find themselves off the top of the table. In saying that though, it will be one of the toughest tests for Celtic so far and there may be a few changes for Neil Lennon’s men on Sunday.
The international break has allowed some of the injury niggles that have been blighting Celtic of late to have eased and Lennon has Emilio Izaguirre, Paddy McCourt and Niall McGinn to call upon if required.
Of course, Celtic learned this week they will be without club captain Scott Brown for a period of up to ten weeks and he joins Israeli midfielder Biram Kayal on the sidelines. The return of Izaguirre may allow Joe Ledley to move back to the centre of midfield but Efrain Juarez and Ki Sung Yueng may be looking to grab that position as well.
The confirmed absence of Scott Brown leaves the captains armband up for grabs with most fans expecting Dan Majstorovic to lead the team out but Neil Lennon has hinted that Shaun Maloney may be in with a shout of captaining Celtic.
Majstorovic has led the team before so you would expect the Swedish stopper to do so again but until the teams come out for the lunchtime kick-off, who knows…
Whenever a team goes on a winning run, the pressure and expectations on them start to build and build and there is no doubt that this game (and the next) will be big tests for Celtic. Then again, with 7 league wins in a row this season, Celtic shouldn’t really have any fear at meeting any Scottish side.
Can Lennon’s bhoys do it again at Tannadice??

BSIJ – No I very rarely bet on Celtic…. just thought with the tight ground that he would get a few chances today.
Good performance from Celtic but a terrible one by the match officials.
