WeKnowSFA - Falkirk

Last season seems so long ago now but you may recall one of the features WeKnowSFA ran was an interview with local musicians where we tried to combine their love of football and music. First in our firing line was Graeme Black from the rather excellent The State Broadcasters.

Graeme is a Falkirk fan and shared his viewpoints on the highs and lows of being a Bairn. With Steven Pressley’s team going down in the final day shoot-out with Kilmarnock, things have been a little bit quiet from Graeme…although there was the noticeable chirp of joy from a Bairns fan when Hearts were humbled out of the League Cup by Falkirk.

As well as giving us his views on football, Graeme did a great turn for our friends at the Cold Blooded Clarity music site, who organised a charity gig back in June. With the proceeds going to the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, the event raised over £2,500, which was a phenomenal tally and everyone involved in the event should be proud of their hard work.

Graeme is taking part in a 10K run on October 17th at Hopestoun House in aid of Cancer Research UK. If you want to read more about the charity and maybe even give Graeme a helping hand on his way, check out the charity page:

We’ll be backing Graeme on this very worthwhile cause and if you feel like doing the same, it would be very welcomed and appreciated.

We still don’t rate Steven Pressley though…..
